Cobb County Farm Bureau President, Stan Kirk received the volunteer award for his service at Covenant Christian School. Brandon Kirk accepted the award on Mr. Kirk’s behalf as he was attending the 81st Georgia Farm Bureau Annual Meeting that is held in Jekyll Island. Mr. Kirk serves on the State Public Policy Committee. Georgia Farm Bureau’s Public Policy Department is charged with pursuing one of the original purposes of Georgia Farm Bureau: to represent farmers and agriculture in the legislative arena.  In accomplishing this goal the department works to coordinate the development of Georgia Farm Bureau policy, and to implement that policy through a number of legislative activities.
