CCFB Host Annual Farm City Luncheon

November 17, 2021 by cobbcountyfarmbureau

2021 Farm City Luncheon at Ron Anderson Recreational Center

Each year Cobb County Farm Bureau host citizens of Cobb and neighboring counties to attend a Farm City Luncheon. The purpose is to give opportunity to the community to meet, and build relationships with local farmers and ranchers.

After taking a year off due to COVID-19 restrictions this year’s luncheon was a hit thanks to our guest speaker, Judith Winfrey.

Judith Winfrey of Love is Love Farm

Judith inspired the audience with a heart-felt speech encouraging the community to support local farmers and buy local products. Agriculture is a fundamental part of each of our lives and we need to do all we can to support.

Judith Winfrey with Stan Kirk, President of Cobb County Farm Bureau

Equally successful was the meal! Local producers Triple J Land & Livestock Farms, Mama J’s Produce and Love is Love Farm provided items for a locally grown meal. The delicious meal was prepared by Spencer Catering  and got excellent reviews.

Thank you to all that attended and volunteered to assist. See you again in 2022!
